The event was organized by the Foundation for International Business Communications jointly with the Department for External Economic and International Relations of the City of Moscow, with the participation of representatives of government authorities, business, and the academic community.
The business program included the Session "A City in Motion. Transport Corridors as a Life Support System. Logistics and Foreign Economic Activity. Air and Water Gateways of a Megacity."
The session was moderated by Andrey Yakovlev, Managing Partner and Chairman of MBA "Yakovlev & Partners", Lawyer.
Opening the discussion, he characterized the modern city as a dynamic system in which transport infrastructure, logistics, and foreign economic activity form the basis of sustainable functioning. Under his moderation, the discussion focused on the practical aspects of developing transport and logistics solutions, as well as the role of air and water transport hubs in integrating the megacity into economic processes.
During the session, participants examined issues of transport infrastructure resilience, the transformation of logistics chains, and the importance of foreign economic activity for the city's development.
Holding the conference at the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation underscored the significance of the issues discussed for expert and public dialogue.
