Experience and recognition
Alexey served in the military prosecutor's office and state security agencies. He is a reserve Colonel of Justice. He has worked in senior positions in major Russian mining, metallurgical and energy companies (including MMC Norilsk Nickel, RJSC UES of Russia). He taught at the Academy of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation. He is the author of more than 40 publications, including monographs and textbooks.
Alexey speaks English. He participates in the activities of interagency task groups of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on the preparation of relevant legislative proposals, as well as he acts as an expert in the Parliamentary Assembly of the CSTO and the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation as an expert. Member of the Expert Council of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security.
